About Us
Four Corners Legacy Law is a growing boutique estate planning and estate administration law firm serving families throughout New York's Capital Region and Northern Hudson Valley.
Our work is about people. We help families understand their options, make informed decisions, and put plans in place to protect the people and things that matter most to them. We believe clients should leave our firm feeling educated, empowered, cared for, and confident about their future.
That same people-first philosophy shapes how we work together. We are a collaborative, technology-driven team that values high standards without ego or unnecessary drama. We want people who are kind, dependable, easy to work with, willing to help one another, and serious about doing excellent work.
Our core values, Competitive Greatness, Always Be Growing, Unimpeachable Character, and Sincere Candor, guide how we serve our clients, make decisions, and work together as a team.
About the Role
As our Business Development Specialist, you will own the execution of the firm's community-based business development efforts. You will build and strengthen referral relationships, identify speaking and partnership opportunities, grow attendance at educational programs, and represent Four Corners Legacy Law throughout the communities we serve.
This role requires independent ownership, proactive relationship development, and consistent follow-through. You will be expected to identify opportunities, initiate conversations, develop relationships over time, execute community initiatives, and track whether those efforts are producing measurable results.
Success requires strong relationship-building skills, initiative, organization, professional confidence, and the ability to turn community activity into meaningful opportunities for the firm. This is not simply an event-planning position. Events, partnerships, referral relationships, and community engagement are business development channels, and you will be accountable for both the quality of execution and the results they produce.
What You Will Own
You will be accountable for:
- Referral Relationship Development: Build and strengthen relationships with professionals and organizations that can connect the firm with families who may benefit from our services.
- Community Presence: Expand the firm's visibility and relationships throughout the Capital Region, Northern Hudson Valley, and surrounding communities.
- Workshop Attendance: Drive registrations and attendance for assigned educational workshops and community programs.
- Business Development Opportunities: Identify and pursue speaking engagements, partnerships, sponsorships, networking opportunities, and other channels that place the firm in front of relevant audiences.
- Event Execution: Ensure assigned workshops, seminars, networking events, sponsorships, and community programs are thoroughly prepared and executed to firm standards.
- Results & Follow-Through: Track activity and outcomes, maintain consistent follow-up, and use results to identify what should be continued, improved, or changed.

Reliable transportation is required. Mileage for eligible business travel is reimbursed.
